8 weeks Post Op TPLO
Today is the 8 week post op mark for Elvis' TPLO surgery. The results of the surgery were apparent within days of
surgery. Elvis is obviously getting around better now. Unfortunately, it looks like now his rear left leg will
have to be operated on it as well.
Knowing the surgery will produce good results, gives us the inspiration
to go through with it even though we know for the first few days Elvis will be in a lot of pain. Luckily for us,
he is such a laid back guy that keeping him sedate for the 8 week recovery period has not been too difficult. Another
8 weeks recovery and he should be able to be off leash again for the first time in a long time.
