June 30 - Lola - R.I.P.  Lost her battle with feline leukemia today.  Please keep her family in your prayers.

May 6, Max - My dog, Max, is my best friend. He never left my side when I was pregnant and my mom was dying. He has cancer. Please pray for healing and that he feels better. I would like the chance to go for a walk, a fun car ride and hike with him again. Thank you.

April 9 - Sam Labrador Retriever - Our 12 yr old Lab's name is Sam. She is a true fighter. Her stomache had twisted 180 degrees and was turning purple. She has been out of surgery for 24 hours and is doing great but we are not out of the woods just yet. Tomorrow they will be giving her, her first small meal. We hope her stomach can handle it. We thank you for all the special prayers everyone has done for us. May God continue to bless you all.

Mar 10 Nosey - R.I.P.  Today Nosey lost her battle with Lymphosarcoma.  Thanks to all for your prayers these past 26 1/2 months.
Mar 8 Nosey Update - Nosey had bloodwork checkup Thursday.  Lymph glands are still swollen but more of a concern right now is her low platelet count.  Dr Lucroy wants us to keep Nosey calm and not allow her to play roughly with the other dogs.  Her Prednisone dosage has been increased again and her energy level is pretty low compared to normal although she does have spurts of energy occasionally.  Please continue to keep her in your prayers.  She is scheduled for her next chemo on March 16th

March 6 Sassy Update  We picked Sassy up today.   She was very happy to see us.  She's been really sleepy since we brought her home.   It's so good to have her back.  Although I havent' seen it for myself, the DR. said she has a 2-3 inch incision.  Its gonna be fun keeping her down for 2 weeks…Thank you all for your prayers and concern.   Sassy-wassy is fine, she hasn't eaten or drank much tonight, but I anticipate she will be more up to it tomorrow.  LOVE, BLESSINGS AND THANKS FOR PRAYERS

March 6 Update Apachi - The 4 kittens are now 5 weeks old, as of yesterday. One crawled up into bed with me this morning. Every day is a first for some event!
Feb 8 Apachi - had her kittens and everyone appears to be doing well.  Please keep her in your prayers that all kittens will grow and be very healthy.

March 4 - Lisha - Great Dane was rushed to emergency surgery today for a twisted stomach. Surgery went well, but she needs to recover. Please pray for her full and swift recovery and her two pack mates who miss her terribly.

About the Pet Prayer List -
With Nosey's cancer returning, we have found comfort in the prayer of friends.  We wanted to offer an avenue for pet prayers to others who might not have a network of friends they'd feel comfortable asking for prayers.  While we know that lymphosarcoma is non-curable, we rejoice in the blessings we've been given so that we are financially able to treat her cancer and keep her around a bit longer.

We believe in the power of prayer.  Answered prayers may come in the form of healing or it may be in acceptance of God's will both for our lives and our pets.  If you have a pet who is ill or injured and needs prayers, please let us know and we will add him/her to our prayer list.
