Q. What is a Treat Meter™?
A. The
Treat Meter consists of inward facing; soft, adjustable rubber prongs that control the flow of treat dispersal. The flexible
prongs move aside to allow treats or kibble to be stuffed inside the toy. As the dog plays, treats randomly fall through the
opening. The prongs can be trimmed with scissors or nail clippers to increase the flow of treats. The Treat Meter is found
in our Chuckle™, Squirrel Dude™, and Waggle™ toys.
Q. What can you stuff
in the Busy Buddy® toys?
A. Lots of things!
Available in original bite size & small bite size, Liver Biscotti™ treats are the perfect hard treat for the Busy Buddy toys. Other ideas include smearing the Twist ‘n Treat™ with cream cheese, peanut butter, spreadable cheese or even liver paste. You can also plug the small suction
hole in the Squirrel Dude with peanut butter and freeze chicken broth for an extra special treat. Load the Chuckle,
Squirrel Dude and Waggle with hard biscuits for an extra-special treat. Pour your
regular kibble into the Tug-a-Jug™ and make your dog work for his dinner! You’ll find you can stuff and smear all sorts of food and treats
into the Busy Buddy toys! We recommend that owners monitor their dogs while playing with the Busy Buddy toys and inspect
toys frequently after play sessions for wear and tear.
Q. How did Premier determine the Chew Strength Meter?
A. The Chew Meter was determined based on field testing. We tested a variety
of “extreme chewers” to determine how well the toys stood up under vigorous chewing. If our most spirited and
strongest chewers damaged the toy, we gave the toy a medium strength assessment. If the toy stood up under hearty chewing,
it was given a hard strength assessment.
Due to the vast diversity of size, weight, strength, age, and activity
level of dogs, there is no formula that can be used to calculate precise strength levels. The Chew Meter is not breed specific,
rather it’s based on power and force of the individual dog’s chewing style.
Q. I have an extremely tough chewer – my dog destroys most toys. Are
any of the Busy Buddy toys suitable for my dog?
A. Our strongest toys are the Bouncy Bone™, Football and the Squirrel Dude. If you have a large dog that’s an extremely aggressive chewer, we also have a black Football that’s made of the strongest and toughest natural rubber. We recommend that owners monitor their dogs while
playing with the Busy Buddy toys and inspect toys frequently after play sessions for wear and tear.
Q. Which of your toys is indestructible?
A. While our Bouncy Bone, Football
and Squirrel Dude toys are our strongest toys and will stand up to some of the toughest chewing, no toy is
indestructible. We recommend that owners monitor their dogs while playing with the Busy Buddy toys and inspect toys
frequently after play sessions for wear and tear.
Q.
What are the Busy Buddy toys made of?
A. The majority of our Busy Buddy toys are made of natural rubber. The Bouncy Bone also features durable
nylon for the bone ends. The jug of the Tug-a-Jug consists of hard plastic that is able to withstand vigorous playing.
Q. What is your replacement policy? What if I buy a toy that
my dog destroyed?
A. We will happily replace a destroyed toy (within the first 2 weeks of receiving it) if the original toy purchased
from Sew Many Paws was the correct size for the breed of dog. All you pay is a nominal shipping charge. Please note
all returns must be pre-authorized. Call us at 317-450-0599 for a returned goods authorization. Contact us at

Q. How do you fasten the Fido Float to ensure a snug fit?
A. The Fido Float follows the contours
of your dog preventing him from twisting, stepping or swimming out of the vest. Also features adjustable straps to fit comfortably
to your dog’s girth.
Q. Is there a weight
limitation to the Fido Float?
A.
No, there is not a weight restriction based on the size of the Fido Float. The vest features three layers of closed-cell foam ensuring buoyancy. If it fits, it floats!
Q. Will your Float keep my dog’s head out of the water?
A. The Fido Float features a u-shaped buoyancy
collar that sits a little lower on the vest, providing support and comfort for the dog’s neck and head. The design of
the buoyancy collar ensures that the dog’s face stays above the water.
Q. Is the Fido Float Coast Guard approved?
A. We did not seek Coast Guard approval, but we use three layers of closed-cell
foam – the same material that is used in personal floatation devices for humans.
Q. Can the Fido Float be washed?
A. Yes. For best results, we recommend washing it in warm water and line-drying.
Q. Do you have general size recommendations based on
breeds?
A. Keep in mind these
are general guidelines. Sizes vary by breed based on girth and length measurements. For a perfect fit, please see our sizing
